No beat – Cinematic Track

(ENG) The creative process can sometimes take you down unexpected and challenging paths. I created this musical theme at a time when the entire planet was confined at home, when the pandemic seemed to threaten us and condition us irremediably, in my case I used those moments to delve into the development of ideas that I had in my head for a long time and that for one reason or another never materialized. The extra point for me was that it made sense within my Dj set as an introductory or background element in the mix, but the idea was taking a different form from the original idea, with its own personality and difficult to handle in the mix, the final result is close to a musical theme typical of an epic movie scene, not all roads lead to where one wants to go.

(ESP) El proceso creativo a veces puede llevarte por caminos inesperados y desafiantes. Este tema musical lo creé en el momento que estaba todo el planeta recluido en casa, cuando la pandemia parecía que nos amenazaba y nos condicionaba de forma irremediable, en mi caso utilicé esos momentos para adentrarme en el desarrollo de ideas que tenía en mi cabeza hacía mucho tiempo y que por un motivo u otro nunca llegaba a materializar. El punto extra para mi era que tuviera sentido dentro de mi Dj set como elemento de introducción o de fondo en la mezcla, pero la idea fue cogiendo una forma distinta a la idea original, con una personalidad propia y difícil de manejar en la mezcla, el resultado final se acerca a un tema musical propio de una escena de cine épico, no todos los caminos conducen a dónde uno quiere llegar.

Streaming live Show – Furcio Dj Set

One of my passions is to investigate the different possibilities that technology currently offers to create a DJ Set. I use a hybrid digital-analog set, this is possible mainly thanks to the Model One mixer (Play Differently by Allen Heat) with it I can integrate different sound sources and allowing a high range of improvisation and sound cohesion, taking into account that the style that I play is Techno at 135 bpm.
